Product Overview

The DCRS-5980 series is Gigabit Ethernet Layer 3 switches with 20/44 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 combo Gigabit Ethernet GT/SFP ports and dual slots for optional 10G modules with  max 4 10G Ethernet ports.

The DCRS-5980 series is ideal for aggregating servers or for aggregating access switches in the distribution layer of three-tier networks. It is also an excellent choice as a core switch for enterprise customers.

All ports of the DCRS-5980-28T-POE and DCRS-5980-52T-POE can support max 15.4W power supply for IP Phone, WIFI AP, IP camera etc with RPS/PSU support.

Performance and Scalability

  1. With 128Gbps/176Gbps switching capacity, the DCRS-5980 series delivers high performance IPv4 and IPv6 IP routing. 
  2. The SFP-based Gigabit ports support various optional Gigabit Ethernet mini GBIC transceivers for different distance fiber connections.
  3. The 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity of DCRS-5980 series is accomplished via a hot-pluggable 10 Gigabit XFP/SFP+ transceiver which supports distance up to 300 meters over multimode fiber and 10 to 80km over single-mode fiber（The distance depend the optical module chosen）.
  4. The DCRS-5980 series supports both AC and DC power supplies for different environment applications.

Continuous Availability

  1. IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) increases bandwidth by automatically aggregating several physical links together as a logical trunk and providing load balancing and fault tolerance for uplink connections.
  2. MRPP (Multi-layer Ring Protection Protocol), is a link layer protocol applied on Ethernet loop protection which reduces network convergence time to 50ms-60ms.

Rich L3 Features

  1. The DCRS-5980 series switch delivers high-performance, hardware based IP routing with 16K IP forwarding items.
  2. RIP, OSPF, BGP provide dynamic routing by exchanging routing information with other Layer 3 switches and routers.
  3. Policy based Route is important for customer when they need multi exit application.

Strong Multicast

  1. IGMP snooping prevents flooding of IP multicast traffic, and limits bandwidth intensive video traffic to only the subscribers.
  2. PIM-DM, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, DVMRP multicast routing protocols, IGMP proxy and MVR (Multicast VLAN Register) make multicast application disposed easily and flexibly.

Comprehensive QoS

  1. 8 queues per port enable differentiated management of up to 8 traffic types.
  2. Traffic is prioritized according to IEEE802.1p, DSCP, IP precedence and TCP/UDP port number, giving optimal performance to real-time applications such as voice and video.
  3. Bi-directional rate-limiting, per port or traffic class, preserves network bandwidth and allows full control of network resources.

Enhanced Security

  1. Access Control Lists (ACLs) can be used to restrict access to sensitive network resources by denying packets based on L2/L3/L4 headers information. DCRS-5980 series supports ingress and egress ACL with max 4K rules.
  2. RADIUS and TACACS Authentication enables centralized control of the switch and restricts unauthorized users from altering the configuration of the switch.
  3. MAC-in-MAC as IEEE 802.1ah-2008 offers complete separation of customer and provider domains.

MPLS Support

  1. MPLS technique is very popular and widely applied in carrier user. As a result the DCRS-5980 supports Hardware-based forwarding of MPLS and MPLS VPN with max 255 VRF instances to help customer construct more security network.
  2. Hierarchical VPLS (H-VPLS), Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS)

IPv6 Support

  • The DCRS-5980 series supports IPv6 routing in hardware and full-scale IPv6 protocols. As IPv4 addresses become exhausted, the DCRS-5980 series will be an excellent product to meet the requirement.

    Giới thiệu sản phẩm:

    Dòng DCRS-5980 là dòng switch lớp 3 Gigabit Ethernet với 20/44 cổng Gigabit Ethernet, 4 cổng combo Gigabit Ethernet GT/SFP và khe cắm đồng thời cho module 10G với tối đa 4 cổng Ethernet 10G.Dòng DCRS-5980 lý tưởng cho các máy chủ tập trung hay các switch access tập trung trong lớp phân phối của mạng 3 lớp. Nó cũng là lựa chọn hoàn hảo như 1 switch core cho các khách hàng là doanh nghiệp.Tất cả các cổng DCRS-5980-28T-POE và DCRS-5980-52T-POE có thể hỗ trợ công suất tối đa 15.4W cho IP phone, WIFI AP, IP camera, … với hỗ trợ PRS/PSU.

    Các tính năng:

    Hiệu suất và khả năng mở rộng:

    •    Với dung lượng chuyển mạch 128Gbps/176Gbps, dòng DCRS-5980 hỗ trợ tốc độ chuyển tiếp với hiệu suất định tuyến lớn cho các giao thức Ipv4 và Ipv6. 
    •    Cổng SFP Gigabit hỗ trợ lựa chọn thay đổi thu phát Gigabit Ethernet mini GBIC cho các kết nối quang với khoảng cách khác nhau.
    •    Kết nối 10 Gigabit Ethernet của dòng DCRS-5980  được thực hiện thông qua 1 cổng cắm thu phát nóng 10 Gigabit XFP/SFP+, hỗ trợ khoảng cách lên đến 300m trên sợi dây đa mode và 10 đến 80km trên sợi đơn mode (Khoảng cách phụ thuộc vào module quang lựa chọn)

    •    Dòng switch DCRS-5980 hỗ trợ nguồn dự phòng AC và DC cho các môi trường ứng dụng khác nhau

    Tính dự phòng:

    •    Giao thức Link Aggregation Control IEEE802.3ad (LACP) tăng băng thông bằng cách tập trung tự động nhiều liên kết vật lý với nhau thành 1 cổng Trunk logic và cung cấp cân bằng tải và khả năng chịu lỗi cho các kết nối đường lên. 
    •    MRPP (Multi-layer Ring Protection Protocol), là 1 giao thức lớp liên kết thực hiện bảo vệ vòng lặp Ethernet, làm giảm thời gian hội tự về 50ms-60ms.

    Nhiều tính năng lớp 3:

    •    Dòng DCRS-5980 chuyển tiếp với hiệu suất lớn, định tuyến IP dựa trên phần cứng với chuyển tiếp 16K thông tin định tuyến. 
    •    RIP, OSPF, BGP cung cấp định tuyến động bằng việc trao đổi thông tin  với các switch lớp 3 và router khác. 
    •    Định tuyến dựa trên chính sách quan trọng cho các khách hàng khi họ cần ứng dụng quản lý xuất nhập dữ liệu.

    Hỗ trợ mạnh mẽ Multicast:

    •    IGMP snooping ngăn chặn lụt lưu lượng multicast IP, và giới hạn băng thông lưu lượng video cho các thuê bao. 
    •    Các giao thức định tuyến Multicast PIM-DM, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, DVMRP, IGMP proxy và MVR (Multicast VLAN Register) là cho các ứng dụng multicast trở nên dễ dàng và linh hoạt.

    Hỗ trợ toàn diện QoS:

    •    8 hàng đợi trên mỗi cổng cho phép phân loại quản lý lên đến 8 dạng lưu lượng. 
    •    Lưu lượng được ưu tiên theo chuẩn IEEE802.1p, DSCP, IP ưu tiên và số cổng TCP/UDP, mang lại hiệu suất tối ưu cho các ứng dụng thời gian thực như thoại và video. Giới hạn tốc độ 2 chiều, mỗi cổng hoặc lớp lưu lượng, duy trì băng thông mạng và cho phép kiểm soát đầy đủ tài nguyên mạng. 
    •    Giới hạn tốc độ 2 chiều, phân lớp cổng hay lưu lượng, duy trì băng thông mạng và cho phép toàn quyền điều khiển tài nguyên mạng.

    Nâng cao an ninh mạng:

    •    Danh sách điều khiển truy cập (ACLs) có thể được sử dụng để hạn chế quyền truy nhập vào các tài nguyên mạng nhạy cảm bằng cách chặn các gói tin dựa trên thông tin header lớp 2/3/4. Và đối với 1 số dịch vụ dựa trên thời gian, sản phẩm có thể hỗ trợ ACL dựa trên thời gian để kiểm tra yêu cầu. 
    •    Mã hóa Secure Shell (SSH) thông tin quản lý mạng thông qua Telnet cung cấp quản lý mạng bảo mật. 
    •    Xác thực RADIUS và TACACS cho phép điều khiển tập trung các switch và hạn chế người dùng không được phép vào thay đổi cấu hình của switch.

    Hỗ trợ MPLS:

    •    Kỹ thuật MPLS rất phổ biến và được ứng dụng rộng rãi trong các nhà viễn thông. Bằng việc DCRS-5980 hỗ trợ chuyển tiếp dựa trên phần cứng của MPLS và MPLS VPN với tối đa 255 trường hợp VRF để giúp khách hàng xây dựng mạng lưới an toàn hơn. 
    •    Hierarchical VPLS (H – VPLS), Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS).

    Hỗ trợ Ipv6:

    •    Dòng DCRS-5980 hỗ trợ định tuyến Ipv6 trên phần cứng và các giao thức Ipv6. Khi mà địa chỉ Ipv4 đang bị cạn kiệt, DCRS-5980 sẽ là 1 sản phẩm tốt đê đáp ứng các yêu cầu đó.
